Spiders

My friend, Regina, hates spiders. I'm not a huge fan of them myself but I can tolerate a nice quiet one up in a corner, staying in it's web and catching bugs. Those ones are okay because I can see them and they don't tend to make any fast moves or threaten to devour any human in it's path. It's the ones who like to hide places and scare that crap out of me by moving at lightening speed when I move a book on a shelf or a box from the closet. blech One day, I took a shoe from a bag to PUT MY FOOT IN IT and a huge (and I do mean HUGE) spider the size of a small Toyota came scurrying out of the shoe. That shoe hit the front of the fishtank with enough force to move the water but thankfully, didn't smash it and send 40 gallons of sticky fish tank water all over the livingroom. Now THAT would've pissed me off!

Back to Regina..... she's scared of spiders. Enough that I've never seen a woman move so fast when confronted by one. The spider always wins in these confrontations.... Regina doesn't even want to play!

As I was driving to work the other morning, I was noticing all the Halloween decorations that people have been putting up. We are pretty lame with out decorations here.... Hannah has some little white ghosts hanging in the trees by the road, Mom has put her scarecrow up, a pot of mums, some cornstalks, a pumpkin and I put out the pumpkin flag on the flagpole.

Luckily, on my way to work, I had my trusty camera with me so I could take a couple pictures....

I know that Regina would not live in this house:

And she'd probably have some pretty bad nightmares living here:

Actually, after seeing this one.... I'm not feeling so well either...

Hey there,
I hopped onto your post through Kim's. Hope you don't mind if I read a bit and leave a comment or two...feel free to do the same.

The house is cool to look at, but I am not sure that I would feel easy walking up and into it at night.
