Happy Easter Trailer
A very happy Easter to all. We are having a great day! We took our camper up to the campground and Gary backed it in onto the correct spot with only 2 tries and no screaming! I had to go to the bathroom terribly and they were closed! The only thing I could find to help myself was my wastebasket! We had lunch a Bugaboo Creek and were waited on by a fella who could barely speak English! I can't stop with these exclamation points!!
Seriously, it is a good day and we are back home. I made a pot of coffee and am going to sew while Gary takes a nap, Hannah plays and Mom reads the Sunday paper. We had a stroke of luck yesterday (I know...you hardly ever hear ME say that!). We were at the Evil Empire's (Wal-mart) twin sister's place, Home Depot and were looking at the trailers they have for sale. $699 + $29 assembly fee for a total of $728. Gary was trying to get the salesman to sell us one for $699 and we would put it together ourselves but it was a no go. Gary was arguing with him about the sign because it was misleading.... giving people the impression they could get one unassembled. I personally would pay alot more than $29 to avoid having to put anything together with Atilla the Hun but Home Depot saved my ass on this one. While the salesman was a few feet away, a man driving by, stopped and rolled down his window to say to Gary......"I bought one of these last year and our lawn business has outgrown it, so I'm buying a bigger one. It has a couple scratches on it and one piece of bent metal but I'll sell it to you for a couple hundred." He was towing the bigger trailer that he had just purchased. After a little talking, we agreed to buy it and went and picked it up last night. It was well worth the $200 and we feel we got the best part of the deal. Yeah! I guess sometimes, a little luck is on our side.
