And another question thing..

Just in case you were dying to know the following answers to these questions I got from Sarah , I thought I'd share them with you. Feel free to copy the questions and answer them about yourself as well! Without further ado.....

10 years ago: I was in a deep depression about the loss of our baby, and trying to take watch every morsel of food Gary put in his mouth to make sure it was low-fat and heart healthy. I almost drove myself (and him!) bonkers with counting fat grams, calories and cholesterol. He had a heart attack and I was scared to death of every little twinge or breath that he took. Finally I had to admit that he was an adult and had to take some responsibility for himself and his own health. He knew the guidelines...whether or not he chose to follow them was another story but I wasn't going to drive myself crazy with it.

5 years ago: Smack dab in the middle of the contested adoption and all the gore that came with it. I wanted to throttle someone in the best interest of my child.

1 year ago: Enjoying summer and my fixing my yard up with Mom.

Yesterday: Searched my house high and low for paperwork that I couldn't find and voila! it appeared.

Today: Picked up my new (to me) camper and had dinner out with Gary & Hannah. Tropical Chicken Salad - very yummy!

Tomorrow: Taking Hannah to rec, picking up pills at the pharmacy, putting some stuff in the camper, taking a swim, going to the bank and doing some laundry.

5 snacks I enjoy: ice cream, popcorn, carrot sticks (really!), Chex Mix, Guacamole

5 Bands I know most of the lyrics their songs: Beach Boys, Bob Seegar, John Denver, Barry Manilow and Fleetwood Mac (yes I am old)

5 things I would do with $100,000,000: Pay off my mortgage, buy a HUGE motorhome, share the money with my family, fund a college scholarship, build an art studio

5 locations I'd like to run away to: Phoenix, San Diego, South Padre Island, The Redwood Forest, Hawaii

5 bad habits I have: I pick any skin thing I can find, I pick my husband's skin things too, I read the end of a book first, when I get upset my voice gets shrill, I put things off.

5 things I like doing: Drawing, painting, singing, reading, swimming

5 things I would never wear: two piece bathing suit in public, a push-up bra, white after Labor Day (kidding!), high heels, a girdle

5 TV shows I like: The Medium, Little House on the Prairie, Seinfeld, Sopranos, Deadwood

5 movies I like: Dirty Dancing, Gone with the Wind, 10 Things I Hate about You, Last of the Mohicans, E.T.

5 famous people I'd like to meet: Keeping this to those who are alive... Oprah Winfrey, George W. Bush, Brooke Shields, Prince Charles, Monica Lewinsky

5 biggest joys at the moment: My daughter, my health, summertime, my home, all my bills are paid at this moment.

And there you have it! How fun these things are. I start them and I swear, it takes me an hour to think up answers. Can anyone just rattle these types of things off? To really pick 5 of your favorite movies? And it feels like I love every snack there is but to pick just 5.... very difficult! Have fun with your answers!

These are great, Sheri!!!! I wish i had time to do them too... blogging is a release for me to be sure, but a blog post has to take like only 15 minutes to jot off most of the time! I just keep telling myself that in 4 weeks this class i am teaching will be over and my life can get back to normal!

10 years ago: I was living in my dream house (a 19th century renovated farmhouse), running miles every day, and starting to get into body building. (I understand your counting with Gary ... I still do it)

5 years ago: Moving away from my dream home and life to Iowa. Slowed down on my running. Eat whatever has cheese on top.

1 year ago: Clearing the first acre of seven with my family on this land. Being eaten alive by bugs. Legs cut up from the forest.

Yesterday: Cleaned out the grout in the new bathroom and then sealed it.

Today: Rolled out of bed to let dog out who was in the process of having dry heaves. Will be mowing, painting indoors, and cleaning entire hovel.

Tomorrow: Taking son to best friend's birthday party, doing laundry, pulling weeds, concentrating on the outdoors.

5 snacks I enjoy: bite size Dove chocolate, movie popcorn, sharp cheese sticks, toast, potato chips (even though they don't like me)

5 Bands I know most of the lyrics their songs: Everclear, Third Eye Blind, The White Stripes, The Doors, Janis Joplin

5 things I would do with $100,000,000: Pay off my mortgage, buy dream truck, have dream home moved to my property, take outrageous tour of Europe, Africa, on and on, put rest away for children

5 locations I'd like to run away to: Belfast, Maine ... Belfast, Ireland ... Cairo, Egypt ... Nepal ... Venice

5 bad habits I have: grunting noise between teeth when I put them together, raising my voice right away when I'm upset, saying rude things to hubby in order to motivate him, hiding from my mother instead of seeing her, overspending on kids when mood strikes

5 things I like doing: gardening, reading, writing, watching movies, knitting

5 things I would never wear: string bikini, a muu muu, belly shirts (so tacky), stilettos, a leather outfit (ala Eddie Murphy)

5 TV shows I like: House, Hell's Kitchen, 30 Days, Angel (repeats), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (repeats)

5 movies I like: OK, this said like and not love, which is weird. I'll just put 5 coming into head ... "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch", "School of Rock", "Interview with the Vampire", "Fight Club"

5 famous people I'd like to meet: Keeping this to those who are alive... John Irving, Lemony Snicket, Ross Perot, Anne Rice, Joan Fontaine

5 biggest joys at the moment: watching daughter sleeping with animals around her, watching son sleeping with butt protruding out of covers, it's morning and the day could be anything I want, done with grout, Drusilla the pug
