Marching into Spring

Image hosted by Photobucket.comAlright... I give up.... UNCLE!!! Enough rain already. We've had one beautiful day in the past week. One. Now we are deluged with rain again and it looks like it's going to last through Tuesday. I thought I would show my readers some lovely daffodils that were blooming next to a foundation. To me they look like they are standing tall, marching into spring.

I brought my pop-up camper home and am happy to report it only took me, alone, 6 hours to fully set it up. I'd better work on that time somewhat, no? I had a terrible time with the awning. I broke a fingernail to the quick and cut my finger and still couldn't get it together like the picture showed. Finally, the Lord of Lets Never Follow Instructions comes home to show me the error of my ways and to discover that the reason I couldn't do it was the awning was installed backwards AND upside down at the factory. At least it wasn't someting I was doing. A few turns of a screw driver later and VOILA, our own outside patio is complete!

I don't know if some of you reading have had a chance to check out some of my links to some other blogs. One of my favorites is Kim. She's a very humorous writer! Another fave is Sleepingmommy. Check these ladies out if you get a chance and if you'd like a good chuckle.

You should post a pic of the camper all set up. Kim is a riot, and so polite, she is the only person I have commented to that acctually goes the extra mile and emails me later to personally comment back to me. That is so cool, but alas, I am just to damn lazy to do that. LOL

Sheri... love, love, love the daffodils!!!!!!!!! All our Spring bulbs (incl my tulips that were nicely set to bloom soon) are currently under snow...again... ugh...

As for the camper...you go girl!!!! I am not "allowed" to set ours up as I seem to be too mechanically challenged to get it done right, lol!!! Enjoy your summer in it!

Hi Sheri,

I was going to email you but can't find an email address!

I LOVE Daffodils...they are my favorite flower and were my bouqet in my wedding...only daffodils.

One of the downfalls of FL is that I can't enjoy the flowers that I love because they don't grow here. My home town is Rochester, NY and they celebrate Lilacs every Spring...another favorite flower. I miss that scent every year.

Thanks for your response on my site. I'd like to have you as my friend IRL too!

I loved the post you wrote about the condiment king...hysterical.

I am so excited for you about the camper. You will have some great times and make terrific memories for Hannah. Promise me you will make her some Franco American spagetti with hamburg, like we always had when we went camping. And mom also made those popping dough cinnamon buns. And jiffy pop. I am getting so nostaglic....

6 hours or not - you DID it! I got the crash course: DH set it up with me, then LEFT for work . . . half an hour later my neighbor pulls up and knocks on my door to inform me that a gigantic system of thunderstorms is approaching - complete with funnel clouds . . . I got that sucker DOWN by MYSELF in less an hour! LOL LOL! Of course - now it's MY job . . .

LOVE the flowers!

I'm every shade of green with envy! I love to camp! My sister just bought a camper at the end of summer last year and they have it placed at a nice campground in the middle of nowhere, we're all going up there in a week to commune with nature (get stupid drunk). I am impressed you set it up yourself! My husband wouldn't know what to do with a set of directions if his life depended on it. You should SEE some of the stuff he's set up..... Thanks for the very nice mention, you're a sweetie.
