Father's Day

Holy crap -it's been over a week since I last posted. Sorry about that. Time gets away from me. We were really busy at work last week breaking the kitchen down for the summer. It's so much work!

• Every surface has to be scoured and cleaned.


• Everything item ON every surface has to be cleaned, bagged and put away.


• Every milk cooler, refrigerator, walk-in and freezer has to be cleaned, organized and inventoried or cleaned and unplugged.


• Every item in dry storage has to be inventoried.

The other ladies in the kitchen did the bulk of the work because I'm only there a few hours a day. I tried to do as much as I could but always felt like I wasn't pulling my share of it. I tried to tell myself that for every single thing I did, it was one LESS thing they had to do.... so it had to make SOME difference.

Father's Day was awesome. We had a great weekend at camp although it was so quiet becuase most of our neighbors weren't around. Regina and Rodney were on a quick trip to Virginia but I did talk to her a couple times. Gary fished in a tournament on Sunday and we are now the proud owners of this plaque, plus a little extra coin in our pockets:

Gary really does fish well. He could have worse hobbies, I guess.

Now that school is over, as soon as I get Hannah settled into her daily rec and tutoring routine, I'll try to post more often. I do alot of reading of blogs but not much commenting. What a lame-o I am. I'll do better!
