BackPain

If you have a stat counter with IP tracking, you'll know that I've been visiting blogs to read but haven't had time to type out comments. I'll try to do better. I am so busy and just haven't had the time like I used to. Not a great excuse, but there you have it.

Everything is going well except that Gary hurt his back. Nothing like a husband with a hurt back to keep you on your toes. Never in the history of hurtdom has there been pain like this. Sorry all you women who have given birth unmedicated - he KNOWS this hurts more. Last night he was laying in bed trying to stretch his back out and something popped and it felt great. He was instantly in no more pain! Halleluyah! A little later, he bent to lift the toilet seat up and BAM! BOING! Back lock-up again. This sucks. However, it won't keep him from fishing. Priorities people.... priorities.

back pain is hideous (i know) and while i've had worse pain in other areas (child birth and compound fractures come to mind) back pain and migraines turn me into a very not nice person to be around. i hope gary feels better soon. chiropractic has helped me. i hope you can stay sane through it too...

LOL! I'm always amazed at how men experience pain that is always unquestionably worse than anything we wives/partners/girlfriends could experience.

Back pain is awful. I hope he feels better soon.

Having had major back issues for the last 15-20 years, I can sympathize.

Get thee to a doctor, stat. And not a chiropractor.

I agree with Queen Goob, that is if you can get him off the Lake for one day.
I will at least hope he wins so you will only be subjected to the pain mood and not the I lost mood.

My husband gets a case of the flu, and he wants a candlelight vigil at his bedside. Back pain sucks big time, but I think for the most part men are seriously big babies because they're in SO much PAIN you couldn't POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND it.
True story....one of our managers wives' had a 4-wheeler accident and BROKE her back and pretty much about died and then spent months wearing a turtle shell thingy. Her husband threw his back out and was laying on the floor and yelling at her that she couldn't possibly know how much pain he was in. Yeah, she walked down the hall and left his ass writhing in pain on the floor. Then about ten minutes later she called my husband to come help pick him up.
Men....

Uh oh Sheri. First he had a pain in his ass, and now his back. The way I see it, you've only got a couple weeks before his head falls off.

Can he fish with no head?

Men tend to think their pain is always worse than anyone else's. Why is that? Either way, I hope he's 100% soon!
