I think spring has finally sprung around here. There are many, many birds enjoying the backyard and tiny green buds are starting to appear on some tree and plants. Yesterday, when I climbed into the truck it was broiling hot in the cab with all the windows up. To me, that's a sure sign it's getting warm. Usually in the winter around here, even if the sun is bright in the sky, the inside of our vehicle is still freezing. When Gary and I lived in Mississippi, we always started our car and let the A/C run to cool it off . Up here in Maine, we have to let the heat run.
I'm so tickled with myself right now. I'm almost finished my quilt top for our bed in the camper. It is so cheery and pretty and I can't wait to get it done. Only two more sides to go, then a border and lastly the backing. Here's a picture of my progress so far:This quilt makes me smile every single time I look at it so I am going to name it Rimmed In Sunshine because of the yellow borders.
