Lobsters in the Snow

I might do a Say-it Sunday post later. Maybe. I have a hard time doing them because my mind draws a complete blank as to what to say. I've tried writing it down and reading it but then that's what it sounds like..... I'm reading. Oh well.

Yesterday, we had our family Christmas Party at our house. Most of the family was there except one of my brothers because his child was sick and my Aunt Karen because she was sick as well. The party went well, the food was really good and everyone seemed to have a good time. My sister Sue was down for an overnight and left this morning. She had received some live lobsters for a gift yesterday and this morning we cooked them outside and threw them in the snowbank to cool off quick. So, she's off on her 4 hour drive home with cooked lobsters in the back of the truck. I told her I hoped they didn't fly out the back or someone on the turnpike might think "Oh my God! It's a Christmas miracle! There's cooked lobsters coming out of the sky!"

For the past 3 years, I've taken a picture of the kids at the party. I love to see how much they change over the year. Here's this years and the previous two:

Those lobsters look like they could use some hot chocolate.

Lobsters For Christmas! That's my kind of Christmas! Wish someone would get me some and put them under my tree. We usually do something special like that for New Years. Have a Wonderful holiday Sheri! Kisses
