It's a start. The summer had flown by. We didn't have much of a summer here in Maine. What we did have was a ton of rain. I think the entire month of July and most of June were rain. August has been hot and muggy but it's starting to improve. The days are a little cooler and the nights a little colder. It is also dark at 7:30pm now. Some trees are starting to have a little color in them.... especially the ones growing around swamps.
School starts next week.

Yeah, we had pretty much the same thing in New York -- summer started two weeks ago and now it's almost over. Boooo.
Hope you guys are able to wring out your new puppy from all the rain and enjoy the sun while we have it.
That sounds like our summer, too.
It's cooled off 10+ degrees in the last week. Our trees are still green.
