Gary's fire

Gary can build a mean campfire..... can you just taste the s'mores?

Just one s'more for me, they kinda make me sick. Speaking of sick...you've gotta try the deep fried cheesecake at Flatlander's. They smother it with strawberries and whipped cream and it's like heaven...and it's huge (enough for 3 people). You wanna know how I know this...well I treated my little girl, we went out to lunch just her and I and it was really fun. We talked about how she tried some of my coffee brandy at Katie's house this summer and how she didn't like it and spit it out...then Katie yelling "Don't let her waste it!" It was actually quite funny, I guess you had to be there.

Ahhh, campfires and s'mores! They are the perfect combination! How about corn on the cob wrapped in foil and thrown on the hot embers?! That's the beauty of summertime!

Have a great weekend Sheri! Mine starts now because I took tomorrow off... woo hoo!

That's beautiful! I haven't had a s'more not made in the fireplace in years.

Ok...we're (Katie, Heather and I) just about sick of not seeing Sue's blog up and running. I know she thinks she had a stalker, but come on...get real...Brian Orff doesn't even own a computer. I told her Friday at work to hurry up and get a new one going... You are the big sister...give her a swift kick in the ass! LOL

Smores and I never got along. In fact, when I think of campfires I think about the time the Loft kids made bacon in a pot and didn't drain the fat. Not one batch. Not two. Three batches of bacon in a boiling pot of fat. I came to refer to that experience as "refried bacon" and to this day the smell of cooking bacon nauseates me :)
