No Blogging tonight!

In case you hadn't gone into your dashboard today... Here's the message that was waiting on mine. Now I know what I won't be doing this evening! A scheduled 15 minute downtime usually will last a lot longer than that. Trust me on this.

We'll be taking Blogger down on Wednesday the 25th at 4pm PST to fix a bit of a switch that's gone wonky on us. The outage should last about 15 minutes. Blogger.com and Blog*Spot blogs will be inaccessible during this time. This repair will fix the problem that caused the brief outage last Friday night. We're also using this down time as an opportunity to tune our databases for more efficient spam catching and deletion.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.......

There's not too much going on around here this week. Gary is getting ready for a week in Florida which he leaves for on Friday. Every year, he and three of his friends find it necessary to head down to Lake Okechobee to do some male bonding on the deck of a boat. They spend the entire day fishing at a part of the lake called The Monkey Box. They go out to dinner everynight and have drinks. They head over to the BassProShop Store and go nuts buying stuff. They burp and fart and do all that manly stuff. However, he'll call me 400 times everyday just to see what I'm doing. He'll text message me every morning the same thing "Wakey Wakey - Luv u Lots". Two days into the trip he'll call me and say he's not going next year and wished he hadn't gone this year because he misses us. sigh I know him so well.

While he's gone Hannah and I are going to go DSN (which means Dollar Store Nutso). We went last week and they had Fun Fur yarn for $1 a skein! That stuff is at least $4 in the craft stores. What a bargain! Hello my name is Sheri and I'm a Dollar Store addict. Well, I guess I could have worse problems, right?

$1 yarn??? WHERE??? OK, I'm being a bit fecetious, but that's probably from that time my mom dragged me around Marden's for three hours looking at fabric. If I had any innate talent for sewing, it has long since been bored to death :)

I hope you and Hannah have a great time!

Ahhh, a week away from the man in the house would be a wonderful thing here...the only problem with it is I'd be thinking aobut how much mney he'd be spending and probably sit and wallow in worry about the bills getting paid the entire week. I bet you and Hannah will have a blast though. Why is it that when us ladies want to go for a week somewhere we get all kinds of shit about it and we are expect to just grin and say "have a great time Honey" when they do it? Enjoy your week...

I wish I could knit. Kid L has a kids knitting machine and I cannot even figure that out. :(

Have fun at the Dollar Store. Yes, there are many worse addictions.

Have you gone to see Brokeback Mountain by any chance? I only ask because of the way you described your husband's annual fishing trip with his buddies... exactly the smae thing happens in the movie - just an odd coincidence that I thought was funny, that's all.
