Wishful Thinking

Here's Lucy and his wishful thinking. He's hoping one of those finch fall off the feeder and well... he'll scoop him up for a snack. I'm happy to report that we've had no falling finches yet.... or NFFY.

Not too much to blog about lately. Boring, boring, boring around here. The leaves are starting to change and there definitly is a fall feel to the air. We haven't had a frost yet but I'm betting it will be soon.

Columbus Weekend we have a camping trip planned to Point Sebago. We've never been there and are looking forward ot it. I've even made a couple food items and put them in the freezer. How's that for Suzy Homemaker?

Yesterday, I was making a left hand turn (well an illegal u-turn actually) and a lady decided she was going to take me on the left. Holy shit, I'm glad her brakes worked well, as she screeched to a stop and ended 1" from my driver's door. OK, I admit I was doing an illegal move but she must not have seen my blinker? Either that or she's the female version of Forrest Gump and ought not to be behind the wheel.

We've been to Point Sebego...It's beautiful...as long as it doesn't get too cold. I'm sure it will be alot of fun. My cats think it is 'appropriate' to leave their kill of the day on the door stoop. It's the first thing I see as leaving the house in the AM...pleasant image!

I'm not a smart man, but I know what an illegal U-turn is. (Jenn-nay).

Awww, that's a cute pic. Hey, what's the container on your porch? I'm looking for something for my recyclables and that really caught my eye.

Great picture :)

And I'm glad you're okay and the lady was able to stop. I'm still paranoid after my accident a few months ago. Damn crazy drivers out there!

You should get into the Friday Ark! http://themodulator.org/archives/001976.html

It's a lot of fun! (I sometimes forget, but I do check out everyone else's links - even the dog and spider ones.)
