I have a new image on my sidebar and I'm asking participants to join in.
The five year anniversary of 9/11/01 is coming up, and D.Challener Roe, a fellow blogger, has come up with a beautiful idea.
To find 2,996 bloggers who will volunteer to write a tribute to one of the victims (that’s one blogger for every victim) to post on September 11th, 2006.
There are about 220 so far, so there is a great need for more volunteers and for the word to be spread.
Please click on the image in my sidebar to visit the website he has set up and consider volunteering and promoting this on your own blog.
I think it is a fantastic idea and I am very proud to be a part of it.

it sounds like a wonderful idea. do they provide background info on the individual or places where you can get info?
